The synopsis for season 2 of Power Book 2 Ghost tells us that Tariq is going to have to make some sacrifices, but who will that be? I've made a case for Carrie and Lil Guap being two of the characters that Tariq could very well sacrifice because at some point Carrie will start to get involved in the investigation, especially as she's a former prosecutor. I believe she'll get very close to solving the murder mystery surrounding her former lover, Jabari. When this does happen, Tariq will realise that he has no option but to take out Carrie Milgram.
