Tens of thousands of demonstrators marched in Washington DC and other US cities on Saturday to demand an end to racism and brutality by US law enforcement as protests over the killing of George Floyd by police entered a 12th day.
A Lincoln Memorial rally and march to the White House marked the largest outpouring yet of protests.
Demonstrators also rallied in numerous urban centres – among them New York, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Boston and Miami – as well as in small, rural communities across the country.
