France’s President Macron said he is ready to work with Trump “for more peace and prosperity.” The Chinese Foreign Ministry stated, “We will continue to approach China-US relations based on mutual respect.” Trump delivered a “victory” speech at his campaign headquarters in Florida. Amid cheers and chants of “USA” from jubilant supporters, Trump appeared on stage with his wife, Melania, and his children. “We are going to help our country heal,” he said, describing the political victory as one the nation had “never seen before.” While Trump has secured 276 electoral votes, his opponent Kamala Harris stood at 219.
