If equipped, Trailer Reverse Steering Control, or TRSC, allows the driver to backup a trailer using a knob located on the center stack. This video demonstrates how to use – and calibrate – the feature on your Ram Truck. Transcript [music playing] [text on screen] This feature may require manual calibration which is covered later in this video. Available features shown throughout. [voice over] If equipped, Trailer Reverse Steering Control, or TRSC, allows the driver to backup a trailer using a knob located on the center stack. The driver controls the accelerator and brake pedals while steering the trailer in the direction the knob is turned. This feature also allows the driver to back up a vehicle and trailer in a straight line when the knob is in the center position. Minimal setup is required to use this feature. First, hitch your trailer to the truck and ensure all electrical wiring is connected. The system will automatically calibrate an attached trailer during normal forward driving with no additional action needed from the driver. To use the system, with the gear selector in Park, put your foot on the brake. Then push the activation button located above the TRSC knob. The LED on the button will glow solid and the instrument cluster display will direct you to shift into Reverse. Once in Reverse, the system is active. Remove hands from the steering wheel and slowly back up while turning the TRSC knob in the direction you want the trailer to go. [More]
In this 2nd episode of my GT6000 garden tractor, I flip it on its side to inspect why this thing doesnt steer. Not only is the sector missing 3 teeth, but the rack and pinion swivel shaft is also seized from years and years of rust build up. I disassemble the entire steering assembly to get it to steer again. ******************************************** If you’d like your product or SWAG (hats, tshirts, hoodies, jackets etc) to be featured, reviewed, or have me wear your company apparel in one of my videos, feel free to send it to me.  I’ll give you a shout out as well as include your website url in the video description. email: mowznblowz@gmail.com follow me on Instagram @mowersblowers website: mowersblowers.com Youtube: mowers n’ blowers If you need swag for your company, contact my friend Lanny Harris at ProLogoWear.com Lharris@prologowear.com His prices and service are second to none!  Tell him Henry sent you. ********************************************
In a previous episode, I attempt to weld blobs of flux metal to replace 3 missing teeth on my steering sector gear. While it worked for a while, the torque of steering merely grinded down the teeth that were meant to be cast iron strength. The stock original steering sector is extremely rare and hard to find. I did find one for $120 which I wasnt willing to pay. There were similar gears that are attached to a different linkage but I grinded the rivets off and welded onto my linkage. The part only cost $25 and now my steering is just like new. ******************************************** If you’d like your product or SWAG (hats, tshirts, hoodies, jackets, stickers etc.) to be featured, reviewed, or have me wear your company apparel in one of my videos, feel free to send it to me.  I’ll give you a shout out as well as include your website url in the video description. email: mowznblowz@gmail.com follow me on Instagram @mowersblowers website: mowersblowers.com Youtube: mowers n’ blowers If you need swag for your company, contact my friend Lanny Harris at ProLogoWear.com Lharris@prologowear.com CORPORATE SPONSORS: GUNK TITESEAL LIQUID WRENCH STA-BIL LUCAS OIL PRODUCTS #gardentractor #steeringsector #fabrication His prices and service are second to none!  Tell him Henry sent you. ********************************************
