Today, we take on the final Gym, Wulfric and once successful, make our way to the final route of Kalos: Victory Road. Will we lose anyone along the way or will our team remain together and raring to go for the Elite 4? Rules: 1. Standard Nuzlocke Rules apply (must catch only first encounter of every route and should a Pokémon die, it is classed as “dead”) 2. This LP is solely based around our Rupees. Our aim is to keep it as high as we can to do certain actions. We start off with 300 Rupees and different actions result in us losing and gaining Rupees, as follows: *Encounter a Pokémon = Pay 50 Rupees, but must have at least 50 Rupees to catch (Gift and Static Pokémon are free) *A Pokémon faints = Lose 50 Rupees, as punishment *Defeat a NPC/trainer = Gain 10 Rupees *Defeat Rival (except first battle) = Gain 20 Rupees *Defeat Gym Leader/Elite 4 Member = Gain 30 Rupees *Defeat Champion = Gain 50 Rupees 3. THE RULES: – Only allowed to catch the first pokemon encountered in each area. – If a pokemon faints it must be released. NO EXCEPTIONS. – Nickname ALL caught pokemon. – Surfing and fishing count as different areas from tall grass (but not different from each other). – If a first encounter escapes via roar, teleport, etc. or is a pokemon that has already been caught, the player can try again. – Pokemon of the same family or evolution line as one already caught cannot be caught again and fall under the above rule. – Static/unique encounters (drifloon, rotom etc.) are exempt from the ‘only catch the first encounter’ rule. – If the first encounter is a double battle, both pokemon are eligible to be caught. – No legendary pokemon. – No breeding for pokemon. – If all the pokemon in the party faint and the player whites/blacks out, the run is over. Toby Fox is in Pokemon Sword and Shield! No as a monster you can catch or anything. Instead, the creator of Undertale – of Papyrus, Sans, and everyone’s favourite, Metatton, has created a piece of music for the Galar region of the Pokemon world. So how exactly did this come about? How did Toby Fox get the chance to work with Game Freak on such an auspicious title? It all comes down to the power of friendship, much like the concept of Pokemon in general. It also probably came down to Toby not caring about the polygon count of the Pokemon models. If you’re that kind of person, we feel bad that you can’t turn off that part of your brain and simply enjoy the experience. We’ve all been there, but please, try not to be a jerk about it. For those who spotted the double line in our previous video on the Sonic movie, sorry about that – it was the last video we made on our old, dying computer. This video, on the other hand, is the first video we’ve made on our new, confusing, also kinda broken computer!
