This is the smallest set of matryoshka that I have ever made. The smallest doll is unofficially also the smallest matryoshka in the world (or so I’m told, feel free to correct me). Largest doll is 1 cm (0.39 inch), middle is 0.5 cm (0.19 inch) and the smallest is 0.28 cm (0.11 inch)… or 2.8 mm, while the world record is 3.1 mm. These dolls are made out of linden wood (lime or basswood) and are carved by hand, then also painted by hand by the original design. They’re OOAK.
