“Bombshell” stars Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman as former Fox News anchors Megyn Kelly and Gretchen Carlson, as well as John Lithgow as Roger Ailes. The Oscar-nominated hair and makeup team of Kazu Hiro, Vivian Baker, and Anne Morgan did a lot of work to turn the cast into their real-life counterparts, with perhaps their most convincing work being on Theron. To play Killmonger in “Black Panther,” Michael B. Jordan had to be covered in 3,000 prosthetic dots. Makeup artist Joel Harlow created Killmonger’s hashmarks for the movie. The FX artist designed each in a mold, which was made from a glue-like material to stick to Jordan’s skin. Correction: The photo of an actor being given a prosthetic lip plate at 1:54 in our video is incorrectly identified. It is not Isaach De Bankolé, but rather a different actor playing a tribal elder. We apologize for the error.
