The state also recorded three new cases from community transmission. 0:18 – Victoria has added 12 new cases. Five are linked to the Cedar Meats cluster which now stands at 111. 0:33 – The last remaining COVID-19 patient in South Australia – Paul Faraguna has walked out of hospital. The 68-year old spent a month in an induced coma after contracting the disease on the Ruby Princess cruise ship. The state will relax some restrictions today. 0:50 – More than 38-million Americans have now filed for unemployment since mid-March. Another 2 point four million joining the jobless queues this week. New research has also quantified the human cost of a late move to lockdown in the United States. 1:07 – The British government has secured more than 10 million antibody tests, to see if people have had the virus. It gives a result in around 20 minutes. The first in line will be health workers, patients and nursing home residents. 1:24 – Spain’s daily death toll has dipped below 50 for the first time since mid-March. For the first time since lockdown, residents of New South Wales will be allowed to leave the house for recreational purposes.
