Novel coronavirus Live Streaming: Breaking news, world Map and live counter on confirmed cases, recovered cases(COVID-19). I started this live stream on Jan 26th, and since Jan 30th I have been streaming this without stopping. Many people are worried about the coronavirus spreading. For anyone that wants to know the numbers and progression of the worldwide spread of this virus, I offer this live stream. The purpose is not to instill fear or panic, nor is it to necessarily comfort; I just want to present the data to help inform the public of the current situation. At first, I tried to show only official data from governments without any manipulation. But many people wanted to apply an up-to-date format of data to stream. I added a procedure to manually manipulate data with my computer. After seeing the inflicted countries numbers had sharply increased, I realized that I could no longer keep up with new information from 100 countries. So I made another procedure which enables moderators to manipulate the numbers on screen from romote. Not only the moderators who willingly accepted the hard work, but also everyone that gave us reliable information were able to add streaming data. Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister provided an update on Monday in regards to the COVID-19 response across the province. Provincial health officials spoke shortly after the premier with an update on the province’s COVID-19 cases and measures being taken to curb the pandemic. Manitoba’s chief provincial public health officer Dr. Brent Roussin announced one new case of COVID-19 in the province on Monday, bringing the total number of cases to 204. The total number of COVID-19-related deaths remains at two, he added. Also, Roussin said that in addition to practicing social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, people are encouraged to wear non-medical face masks to protect others from catching the virus through droplet spread, echoing the advice of Canada’s chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam. He stressed that wearing the mask does not protect the individual wearing it from catching the virus, rather, it could help prevent further spread of the virus. Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister said that as Canadian provinces begin to run out of money and enter further debt situations due to spending to counter the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the federal government should create a “federal emergency reserve.” Pallister said that he and the other premiers have been in talks about this idea and have recently proposed it to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Winnipeg Mayor Brian Bowman and Jason Shaw, head of the city’s emergency operations centre, provided an update the city’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and also the expected spring flooding situation. The City of Winnipeg says 41 property owners will need dikes to protect from river flooding, and another 16 remain at risk of flooding this spring. In a release Monday afternoon the city said crews continue to monitor river levels and are working with the province to decide if additional properties will require sandbag dikes. While property owners are responsible for building their own sandbag dikes, the city says homeowners who have trouble finding volunteers due to COVID-19 may get help from city crews. Though the drug has not undergone tests to prove its effectiveness in treating the virus, Trump has continued to advocate for it, telling reporters: ‘What do you have to lose?’ Dr Anthony Fauci, the top doctor on infectious diseases in the US and a key member of the White House task force, told CBS Face the Nation program there was nothing to suggest the medicine had any benefit against coronavirus. ‘The data are really just at best suggestive.
