Gretta (Keira Knightley) and her long-time boyfriend Dave (Adam Levine) are college sweethearts and songwriting partners who decamp for New York when he lands a deal with a major label. But the trappings of his new-found fame soon tempt Dave to stray, and a reeling, lovelorn Gretta is left on her own. Her world takes a turn for the better when Dan (Mark Ruffalo), a disgraced record-label exec, stumbles upon her performing on an East Village stage and is immediately captivated by her raw talent. From this chance encounter emerges an enchanting portrait of a mutually transformative collaboration, set to the soundtrack of a summer in New York City. BEGIN AGAIN is produced and financed by Exclusive Media and produced by Anthony Bregman, Tobin Armbrust and Judd Apatow.

Australia’s first human trials of a potential COVID-19 vaccine started in Melbourne today, with about 130 people involved in the program. Clinical research organisation the Nucleus Network will be in charge of the early stages of testing the vaccine NVX-CoV2373, before the trial expands to Brisbane within a week. The participants are healthy people between 18 and 59 years old. Victoria’s Parliamentary Secretary for Medical Research, Frank McGuire, said the trial was a significant step forward in the race for a coronavirus vaccine. “As the first human trial in the southern hemisphere, and one of only a handful of COVID-19 human trials worldwide, I am delighted Victoria is again at the forefront in leadership and excellence in medical research,” he said in a statement. The treatment is being developed by US biotech company Novavax and is aimed at enhancing the immune response and stimulating high levels of neutralising antibodies. Preliminary results are expected in July. 10:00 – Dr Norman Swan from Coronacast takes a closer look at the new vaccine Read more here: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-05-26/coronavirus-vaccine-trail-begins-in-melbourne-brisbane/12286028 For more from ABC News, click here: https://ab.co/2kxYCZY You can watch more ABC News content on iview: https://ab.co/2OB7Mk1 Subscribe to us on YouTube: http://ab.co/1svxLVE Go deeper on our ABC News In-depth channel: https://ab.co/2lNeBn2 You can also like us on Facebook: http://facebook.com/abcnews.au Or follow us on Instagram: http://instagram.com/abcnews_au Or even on Twitter: http://twitter.com/abcnews
Alberta’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Deena Hinshaw and Premier Jason Kenney provided an update on Wednesday on the province’s ongoing efforts to combat COVID-19. Kenney announced that the province would be entering Phase 1 of their relaunch strategy starting Thursday. In all areas of the province, with the exception of Calgary and Brooks, retail businesses, hairstyling and barber shops, museums and art galleries, dental procedures, day camps and day cares will be allowed to reopen as of May 14 with limits on occupancies. Places of worship and funeral services would also be able to reopen under “strict guidelines.” Restaurants would be required to have seating at 50 per cent capacity. Calgary and Brooks, which Kenney said account for three-quarters of the province’s cases and hospitalizations, will see a more phased approach. On Thursday, retail businesses, museums and daycares will be able to reopen with limits on occupancies. On May 25, these regions will see hairstylists and barbershops reopen, as well as restaurants, cafes and bars with the same 50 per cent capacity as other parts of the province. Then on June 1, places for worship and funeral services will be able to have additional flexibility under COVID-19 measures. Hinshaw reported that as of Wednesday, there were 62 new cases. There were 5,076 recoveries, with 1,211 active cases. The province also declared a new outbreak during Wednesday’s briefing, with five people testing positive at the Horizon work camp, operated by Canadian Natural Resources. Victorians will be able to host up to five visitors in their homes and meet outdoors in groups of 10 from Wednesday, under the state’s first relaxation of coronavirus restrictions. Under what Premier Daniel Andrews termed the first “safe, cautious and appropriate step” towards normality, Victorians will be able to go fishing, hiking, play golf and join walking groups, provided physical distancing is maintained. The Government has also come to an agreed set of arrangements to allow professional sporting codes, including the AFL, to resume training from Wednesday, he said. “Training resuming paves the way for footy to be back and I think we all want that, provided it’s safe, appropriate and can be done in a cautious way and I’m confident that it can be,” Mr Andrews said. Weddings will now be able to have ten guests, while up to 20 people can attend funerals indoors, and up to 30 people can attend funerals held outdoors. Up to 10 people will be allowed to join religious gatherings, plus the additional people required to run the service. When deciding whether to start easing lockdown restrictions in the UK, the government is looking at the risk of a second wave of the virus hitting the country. Several European countries have started to ease their lockdown measures to varying degrees of success. Last night Boris Johnson said that the UK is past the peak of its coronavirus pandemic. The government has warned the reproductive rate of the virus must be below one to avoid a second peak of coronavirus. This means that on average someone with the virus passes it on to less than one person. The government released a video explaining what the R of COVID-19 means. Downing Street has said the number of new cases each day should be below 1000 before easing any lockdown measures. Some ministers are concerned that ending the lockdown too quickly may lead to a second spike in coronavirus infections. There is some indication that in Germany, where measures are being relaxed, a second peak may be emerging. Germany had got new virus cases down to 2,000 per day by 19th April, and began lifting some restrictions the next day. Churches, gardens, zoos, playgrounds, monuments, and museums all started to reopen. Then cases began to rise again, sparking fears the government had begun to ease the lockdown too quickly. The government responded by delaying the decision to reopen schools and said social distancing rules will remain in place until at least 10th May. Trials for a new COVID-19 vaccine began on humans at Oxford University in the UK on Thursday. Two volunteers took part part in the trials with one given the new vaccine and another given a ‘control’ which will not prevent the virus. The global pandemic has sickened nearly 2,68 million people, killed more than 187,000 worldwide, crippled economies and forced restrictions on the movement of millions of people in an effort to stop the virus from spreading further and overwhelming health care systems.
