Converting a rear gas tank lawn tractor to a gravity fed fuel tank required a battery relocation and removing the rear gas tank to accommodate the battery. Many subscribers told me that my initial set up where I simply lowered the battery and put the gas tank directly above it was unsafe. Since I had never removed the rear fenders and relocated battery cables before, I thought it would be an interesting video, so I decided to do what my subscribers want. In episode 2 of my L100 fix, I installed a dual circuit stator to replace the 10/16 amp stator that was originally on the engine. I added a starter motor, replaced the magneto, drained the gas tank and blew it out. Added a battery and gave it a first crank.
