Manitoba recorded one new case of COVID-19 on Wednesday as the number of active cases in the province has fallen to below 10, according to health officials. The new reported case brings the total number in Manitoba to 298. Chief medical health officer Dr. Brent Roussin said Wednesday that four of the province’s active cases are linked to a cluster related to temporary foreign workers in the Southern Health region of the province. The number of COVID-19-related deaths in the province remains at seven.
