Singapore authorities have now made it mandatory to wear a mask when stepping out of the house, with immediate effect. The new requirement was announced on Tuesday (Apr 14) at a press conference given by the multi-ministry task force tackling COVID-19. "We remain in a critical situation," Health Minister Gan Kim Yong said, noting the sharp increase in cases, in particular, among foreign workers in dormitories.
