This is the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite review after using it for a brief time. The Note 10 Lite costs half of what the Note 10 costs and in this video, we are going to see what are the compromises done by Samsung along with our impressions.
The Galaxy Note 10 Lite features a Glasstic Back with Aluminum Frame. The Glasstic Back is Plastic and Glass molded together. The design is not as premium as you find on Note 10, but it’s not cheap. It feels good on the hands, but the curves are not premium as seen on Note 10. Also, you get an optical in-display fingerprint sensor instead of ultra-sonic. It is a bit slower than what we are used to.
Moving on, you get a 6.7-inch Full-HD display with a punch-hole lying at the center. It’s a Super AMOLED panel and produces excellent colors and contrast. The brightness is excellent and the display is visible even during a bright sunny day. However, you don’t get a curved display on the Note 10 Lite.
For performance, to keep the cost down, Samsung has included an older Exynos 9810 chipset that we saw on the Note 9. It’s based on 10nm fabrication and is comparable to midrange chipsets like Snapdragon 730G. Memory wise, you get 128GB of storage and either 6 or 8GB RAM.
Samsung has included a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card support, both these features were missing on the Note 10. However, to reduce the cost, Samsung Note 10 lacks wireless charging and IP rating. But, the good news is Note 10 Lite sports the same triple camera like that of the Note 10. The triple rear camera comprises of the 12MP primary lens, 12MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP wide-angle lens. On the front lies a 32MP selfie snapper.
The battery on the Note 10 Lite is huge. It’s a 4500mAh capacity with 25W fast charging support. It runs on Android 10 with One UI 2.0 out of the box. The big plus of having a Note device is S-pen and the Note 10 Lite has one. It’s the same module like that on the Note 10. However, it lacks Gyro-sensor, so no gesture control.
The intention behind the launch of Note 10 Lite is obvious – making the S-pen accessible to the crows. We will be coming up with a detailed review of the Note 10 Lite in the coming days, so stick with us by following us on our social media platforms.
