POPEYES CHICKEN SANDWICH VS CHICK-FIL-A CHICKEN SANDWICH CHALLENGE

Here’s our take on the Popeyes chicken sandwich vs. the Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwich!

Ingredients
Step A -For Chicken
1 lb Raw Chicken Breast sliced into Cutlets 3 c Self rising flour
2 c Buttermilk
2 ts Granulated garlic
2 ts Onion powder
3 ts Paprika
2 tbs Sriracha
1 ts Salt
2 ts Black Pepper
1 TBs Old Bay
Step B -Special Sauce
1/4 c Mango Preserves
1-2 TBS TRUFF hot sauce
1TBS Chopped Roasted Red Peppers 1 c Mayonnaise
1 ts Black pepper
1 ts Salt
2 ts Onion powder
2 ts Garlic powder
Step C-For final assembly French brioche buns
Micro Water Cress or Arugula Gouda Cheese
Red Onions
Dill Pickles
Special Sauce
Fresh Tomatoes Buttermilk Chicken Breast
Directions
1. Place clean chicken breast cutlets in a bowl and season with all seasoning in step A. Pour buttermilk
over chicken and stir to incorporate so all the ingredients are mixed in with the chicken. Set aside
covered in the fridge to marinate for at least an hour.
2. In a large bowl add 3 cups of flour and season with paprika, salt, and black pepper.
3. Dredge Chicken In flour then back into the buttermilk mixture. Dredge in flour again for a final coat then
place on a wire rack to rest *preferred (or a flat surface)
4. Heatdeepfryerto350°.Frychickenfor6minuteseachthenplaceonwireracktorestup.
5. Mix all ingredients for special sauce and set aside.
6. Assemble sandwich and enjoy
