Iran has threatened to destroy US military bases and aircraft carriers in the Gulf if they ‘make a mistake’. A commander in Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards, Hossein Nejat, said on Tuesday the U.S. regional bases are in range of Iranian missiles, the Tasnim news agency reported. The threat comes amid heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran, which has sharply increased in recent weeks.
