I used a plugin to put myself in the most iconic Rocket League goals of all time, to see if I could pull them off in the same scenario. I tried scoring goals like JSTN in Season 5, Squishy in Season 4, and GarrettG in 2021.

I used a plugin called Ripcore to make this video. It is quite buggy right now but it gets the job done. I truly do believe this will be the next generation way to train in Rocket League. The ability to practice defending an actual shot or shooting from an actual pass is so crucial to improving in Rocket League. But right now, there’s no way to achieve that without playing full length online matches and getting only a few attempts every game. Not only is this a really cool training tool though, but I also had a fun time seeing if I could score professional level Rocket League goals just out of curiosity. I found it interesting that I struggled recreating the older pro goals more than the recent ones. The types of goals scored back then are so risky to go for nowadays that they would either just get shut down immediately or the pro players don’t go for them in the first place.
