"Defense Secretary Ajay Kumar on Wednesday showed signs of Covid-19 infection, sending shockwaves in the Ministry of Defense. The efforts are going on War footing to trace his contacts.
On Wednesday morning, at least 35 officers working in the headquarters of the ministry in the South Block of Raisina Hills were sent back to their houses separately after symptoms were detected in defense secretary Ajay Kumar.
However, no official statement was given as to whether it is a confirmed Coronavirus case. A defense ministry spokesperson declined to comment on the matter.
