This was a free lawn tractor I got locally without an engine, it was designed to have a 17hp kohler with a rear gas tank using a fuel pump delivery system. I put a 9hp kawasaki engine from a rear engine from a john deere rx75 riding mower on it. It wasnt designed to have a fuel pump and the pulse from the breather wasnt strong enough to deliver gas from the rear all the way to the front. I tried 3 fuel pumps including an electric one...none of them worked well enough to allow the engine to run correctly, either it was starving for fuel or it flooded the carburetor.

Finally I decided to do what that engine was designed for, added a gravity fed gas tank from an extra snowblower gas tank.
