Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will provide an update to Canadians on Tuesday morning around 11:15am ET. Trudeau will provide the latest details on the measures the government in taking to curb the COVID-19 pandemic.

Federal ministers and health officials will speak shortly after Trudeau at approx. 12pm ET to provide additional information around the gorvernment's response.

Canada’s number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has now surpassed 25,000, including 780 deaths, according to provincial figures released across the country Monday.
