British Columbia’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Bonnie Henry and the province’s Minister of Health Adrian Dix provided a briefing on Monday to talk about the province’s ongoing efforts to fight COVID-19.
Dr. Henry reported that there are 12 new COVID-19 cases since Saturday and four new deaths, bringing B.C.’s COVID-19 death toll to 161. All four deaths were linked to the Langley Lodge long-term care facility.
There are 267 active cases in the province, with 37 people in hospitals and seven in ICU,
2,102 confirmed cases have now recovered.
