British Columbia’s provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and health minister Adrian Dix provided an update on the latest COVID-19 cases in the province and discussed the government’s ongoing response to the pandemic on Thursday.
Dr. Henry reported 25 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday and two additional deaths. There are 2,112 total cases, with 1,322 having recovered.
She also said that the province won’t have any large groups gathering this summer, but people can look at making their contact circles “slightly bigger.”
