Quebec officials announced 342 new cases of COVID-19 during Sunday’s coronavirus update, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 2,840.
Quebec’s Premier, François Legault, told reporters that the number of deaths remains at 22.
There are now 192 cases of coronavirus requiring hospitalization in Quebec as of Sunday, with 72 cases in intensive care units.
Over 49,300 tests reported back negative in Quebec, with 6,300 cases under investigation.
Premier Legault said a total of 58,000 people in the province have been tested as of Sunday.
