In this video, I try speaking only in Taiwanese for 24 hours. Taiwanese is a dialect of the Southern Min that stems from the Chinese language. Southern Min or Min Nan varieties are spoken by 49 million people in multiple Chinese provinces, and also in Taiwan, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia. I struggle hard because I am fluent in English and Mandarin but certainly not in Taiwanese. I hope you enjoy watching me make a complete ass out of myself in this video🙃
